Probably one of the hardest things I've done in my life, climbing up to 16,600 feet in two days was no easy task. This picture was taken on day two of my trek. We had slept overnight in freezing temperatures, elevation sickness and fighting low blood sugar. You start to question why you do it, in the end it's to push your body out of your comfort zone, and to be humbled by Mother Nature. Rainbow mountain was only reached 2 years ago and it's one of the hardest treks to do. The experience will be unforgettable in so many ways. Our guides Adrian and Franco are beast and I praise their passion and love for the mountains. I'm now heading back to Lima to indulge in their world ranked restaurants after this strenuous but beautiful week in Cusco.
Can't wait to head back home tomorrow to enjoy the 4th of July with my family.
