Today is World Bipolar Day. 🎭
This is an illness that has a lot of stigma attached to it and that's very unfair because most people have to live with it all their lives and would appreciate all the support their friends and loved ones can give them, even if they aren't in a position to accept it at a certain point of time.
I hope everyone with bipolar disorder can get to a point where they know they deserve help and that it can be dealt with in a healthy manner, with the help of proper medical treatment. Please DON'T self-medicate. If you suspect that you might have this illness, please go to a doctor. Even if it doesn't feel like it'll work, you might get something good out of it.
I hope you know that you're definitely not alone and you're not a bad person or a weird person or a SELFISH person. ❤️ And for all the people who use the word "Bipolar" casually, to describe how changeable or quirky they are: please stop doing it. It plays a major role in diminishing the suffering of a lot of people.Plus it's really annoying. Just saying. 🙅🏻 #worldbipolarday #bipolardisorder #bipolar #mentalhealth #mentalillnessawareness
PS. There's a lot more to know about it than whatever's in this picture, so I suggest that you Google it if you want to know more 😊
