A little #tbt
for my first post. This shows my last few years transitioning. I never knew how to care for my hair, I always straightened it, like 2-3 times a week at 2 hours each time for as long as I remembered. When I was too lazy to straighten, I'd throw it in a bun but always straightened my bangs because I've always been self conscious of my forehead (fivehead 🤣). One hairstylist convinced me that I could actually have nice hair, so gave me a few pointers. I listened, and got my hair to a good length and volume (for me). Like the genius I am, I decided "hey, let me try to go blonde".....😑.. (view last pic). After trying to "fix" my hair for 6 months to no avail, I decided to do a big chop and start all over again. Fast forward a little, I colored my hair a few more times and didn't know how to take care of it, which led to another chop. With the inspiration of a few curl crushes on social media, here I am now trying to get my hair to the healthiest it could be.
I'm itching to color my hair again, but I also don't want to damage my progress, so along my journey, my goal is to find a way to achieve color and health 😊
