After a month of semi-neglecting my health, I’ve decided to embark on a super gentle one week cleanse.
Yesterday I made two litres of green juice (apple, celery, cucumber, spinach, kale, lemon and limes) and homemade almond milk which I’ll be using for protein smoothies and mushroom hot cacao if I’m craving something sweet. I’ve also started taking a morning tonic shot of ACV, turmeric, ginger, garlic, cayenne pepper, horseradish and pink Himalayan sea salt. I’m going to try and stick to liquids during the day and then have a meal of vegetables, wholesome carbohydrates and protein (most likely tofu) in the evening. However if I’m super hungry, I’ll have some watermelon or a homemade bliss ball. Lots of water too of course!
I’m hoping this will give my system a good reset because I’ve been feeling a bit yucky (and maybe a few kg’s heavier...) the past month.
