Hope you’re weekend has been exactly what you needed it to be.
I completed my first week of adapting my training to not only a ruptured Plantar Fascia, but my unfortunate gym incident that resulted in two broken toes a week ago Friday.
I was feeling a bit defeated at the beginning of the week, but then chose to suck it up and focus on what I could still do.
I’m learning a lot after my injuries.
1) I love and appreciate fitness and how it makes me feel. (I haven’t always been able to HONESTLY say this!!)
2) There are just no excuses. You want it bad enough, you will find a way!!! 3) I have learned to be a very creative with my training to ensure I maintain what I’ve worked hard for...this will only help me be a better trainer for my clients when they may have extra challenges in their own fitness. Always more than one way to achieve goals!!
4) Just how important a positive attitude is, not just in fitness, but in life!!
5) Finally...Fake it til you make it...in other words, stay in the habit. Get yourself to the gym, track...wherever you go for training, doing whatever you are able. This keeps you going through the motions and in the habit, until you’re back 💯
Finally starting to feel better after a virus got ahold of me mid week!! I’m thinking positive that this will absolutely be a great week!!! Hope yours is the same!!! Stay healthy peeps!!!
