One reason I am grateful for the love of my life?
All my life I have thought various negative things about my body.
One of the body parts I always felt didn't measure up, or rather, measured "too up", were my arms. 💪🏼 I guess thinking they should be twiggier?
I felt self conscious when I would wear certain cuts of the sleeves,
and avoided wearing anything that I thought might make my arms look even "bigger". One day, about two years into dating my hunky man, out of the blue he told me he loved my arms. 😯
He loved that they were strong and toned.
I NEVER told him I didn't like my arms?
I would never want to admit that "weakness", even to him.
I'll never forget that day.
I actually share it with our children as one of reasons I fell in love with him.
Isn't it silly how distorted we see ourselves?
The energy we waste in comparison.
My life has been an incredible journey of self-love.
I'm on a mission to EMBRACE me🙌🏻
A love mission to teach and pay forward the worth and value of every human being that will listen 💕
To pay forward body positive talk to my daughters, my sons, and grandchildren 💃🏼 This Thanksgiving, let your mantra be, "I am grateful for this beautiful body and all it does for me! I love ME!"
Happy Holidays, beautiful humans!!
