Among photographers the quest for the perfect camera bag is seemingly neverending. As gear and shooting scenarios change and evolve so does the needs for carrying them. For the past few years, most of my work has been urban, and I've got a could mix of rollers and shoulder bags for that. It's been years since I last regularly used a backpack, but with recent moves into drones and aiming to get back to my roots and spend more time on beaches and away from the city, there's come a need for a new backpack. Enter the Guru UL from @fstopgear
This bag is fantastic for lightweight, minimal equipment use. I'm not into multiday hikes or camping so don't need space for everything that requires. I took the Guru U with me to Thailand recently, packing a DSLR, 2 lenses, a drone, a gimbal and assorted chargers and the like. It was perfect. I loaded it up last week during a rainy, outdoor portrait shoot. 2 DSLRs, 2 lenses, 2 speedlights. And space left over. I can see I'm going to have a long love affair with this bag.
