And well, I'm on a roll and it all only takes a few minutes, so I whipped up some more DIY natural deodorate paste too! Please read to the end to understand why making the switch is SO important!! ;)
Aluminium tin or glass jar work best
6tbs of coconut oil (choose a good one!)
6tp of bicarbonate of soda
15 drops of essential oils (again, I choose to use Young Living oils for their quality)
I did 5 drops of each, Lavender, Lemon and Purification...you could also use Geranium, and any other essential oil scent you would like...
Mix it all together ensuring no bicarb lumps etc (probably best to sift it in...I forgot to this time!)
Pour into your clean tin
Pop in the fridge to set and you're good to go...happy pits all round!! ;)
Of course in the warmer weather it will turn to liquid again...either keep in the fridge and get out when you wake up ready to use after your shower etc or just apply as a liquid...it still works!!!
Our body odour comes from our system releasing unwanted toxins out of the body, so whether this is your body rejecting the nasties that are found in soooo many of the off the shelf sprays and roll ons, or from our foods etc, its natural and necessary for our body to do that.
If you make the switch and stick with it, I am pretty sure you will notice the difference for yourself that you actually don't smell as bad (if you forget to put it on one morning as I expereinced!!!) and that is because we have given our system a break from the crazy anti-perspirant/deodorant cycle....because the more we use the more we think we 'need'...until you understand whats happening that is!
Do yourself, your pits and your entire system a favour and be very mindful what you choose to put onto your skin and therefore into your body...it makes a HUGE difference to how it operates and ultimately, how you feel!!!
